Studio Series: Daniela Doe
Daniela is a graphic and textile designer, and, quite possibly, one of the few people who owns enough POEVE pairs to wear a different one each day. We spoke with her about her creative space and how she moves through it daily. How would you describe your practice? I start sketching out ideas digitally, then through tufting, embroidery, and textile printing, I explore how colour, texture, and form can make those concepts feel tactile and memorable. What does your creative space look like? My studio is set up around different workstations. There’s a digital area for sketching and planning, a tufting station where pieces come to life, and a flexible workbench for sewing or more experimental projects. Some days are spent at the computer, other days are more hands-on. I love the flexibility to move between activities and adjust my workspace as needed.
